application reference

Hi ,

anybody know how to embed the exeternal application (not a  vi) to the labview Front panel?

Because I have one application that need to communicate with my usb devices and I do hope that the application can embed in front panel

The only external applications you can embed in the front panel of a VI are ActiveX or .NET containers. You can also embed a VI in a subpanel. You still have not provided any details on this external application. It still has little to do with instrument control and would be more of a LabVIEW question.

 

Please provide some details on the external app.

Does the application that you are wanting to use have a ActiveX or .Net container? Do you have any dll's for the USB device?
