at-485 will not operate

The PC says the serial interface is not installed. I downloaded drives from this site and still cannot get the interface to operate. We may have deleted the port. How do we reinstall.

Hello,

In order to reinstall your hardware, you will want to ensure that you power down your computer, remove the board, power up, install NI-Serial, boot down and install the GPIB board again, and reboot your system. This will ensure that the serial driver is in the system before the board itself. A great reference for getting started with your board is the user manual and getting started manual for the board. You can find these manuals on www.ni.com by searching for "AT-485." If you have further questions, please let me know.
