cRIO 9014 USB-Serial Convertor

I would like to use a USB to serial convertor to drive an inteligent OLED display from 4D Systems. My problem is that I want to do this from a compact RIO and there doesn't seem to be any inbuilt support for the interface I'm using. Is there an approved interface or should I find an alternative solution.

9014 USB is meant for thumb drive. If you've slot available, and your chassis support scan mode, 9870, https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/ni-9870.html, would be a solution.

Thanks for getting back. The main reason I wanted to use the USB was that it would supply 5V to the display module. The solution I have come up with involves using a circuit built on "stripboard" containing a MAX232 RS232 interface IC and a switch mode regulator chip. This means I can supply 5V taken from the main 24V supply for the cRIO and use the RS232 port on the controller for comms. The USB port is now free to use for additional storage.
