I am trying to use visa to address an agilent u2701a scope with an E5810B lan/usb gateway. I am able to use ni-visa to find the scope without the gateway no problem using vifindrsrc, but when I try to do the same using the e5810b gateway Ihave trouble. Any suggestions?

 When you say you have trouble; can you be a little more specific? What kind of trouble do you have? Do you get any error message?

How do I add the U2701A to NI-MAX? I'm trying to use viFindRsrc so that I can find out the serial number of the U2701A so that I can pass the proper resource string to the IVI driver to start a session.
