I am very discouraged...
I wrote an appplication using serial compatibility VI in Labview 5.1.1 (Labview 6i was very slow)
Everything works fine in the Labview environment and I sent the .exe application code to another computer using WIN98. First everything went OK.
After I did an update of the program, I received the famous error 37 device not found. I tried the same program on another PC and it worked OK.I came back on the other one and nothing worked.
1)THe serpdrv is in the same folder as my application
2) I wrote a my_file.ini where I wrote serial.devices= ....
3) I cheked my COM with hyperterminal and it works
4) I don't have Labview /DSC
5) I reformated everything and nothing changed
5) I prayed all saints
6) I stopped drinking
7) I said to my mother I will never lie again
Nothing, nothing worked
