Hello,
I need help regarding the installation of the
GPIB ENET 100 on
Windows 2003 Server.
I've installed LabView 8.2 on Windows 2003 Server and everything seems
to work fine on the software side, but I'm not able to add any GPIB
hardware from the MAX.
As soon as I try to add a new GPIB device, the message "
Unable to find
nigpib.inf You need to reinstall the NI-488.2 driver software." pops
up, but the file
nigpib.inf exists and is placed at "C:\WINDOWS\Inf",
where I think it were supposed to be.
However, as suggested, I tried to reinstall NI-488.2, and I made it
twice, the first time again from the installation DVD, the second time
from the most updated version available on the NI site.
In both cases the installer finished immediately since according to it, the software was already and correctly installed.
Just as information: I've installed the NI-488.2 on many WinXP machines
on the same local network and everything always worked perfectly with
the GPIB ENET. I've never encountered this problem before.
Now I really don't know what to do...
Can anybody help me?
