gpibprop.dll is missing. Where could be the reason?

Hello.

My problem is: I'm using Agilent Technologies Network analyzer E8361A with Labview. The communication is done by GPIB, and everything works fine.
For some reasons, I need to change the computer I'm using. The new computer has also the GPIB card, so I thought I will just reconnect the Network analyzer, I'll copy the software and that's it.
Unfortunately, my Network analyzer is not seen in the new computer.
I started the 'Measurement and Automatisation' application, but I can't check if my Network analyzer is there, because I get the error that 'gpibprop.dll' is missing. Actually I don't know, where does this file belong to. Is it a part of National Instruments software, or any hardware that is installed on the system? I can't tell since when the file is missing, because I'm not the first user of that computer (but I don't have any contact with the previous user). Can anybody explain me, where I can find 'gpibprop.dll', or what can be the reason, that my Network analyzer is not seen in the new computer?

Thanks in advance

I don't believe that gpibprop.dll is a National Instruments DLL.  It's not on my system (XP, with NI-488.2 v2.4 installed).  It could be a really old DLL.  What version of the driver are you running?  The first step would be to get the latest version and reinstall.

As far as i found out, the DLL is an old component of the NI-488.2 (about 1999). perharps this link will help in finding a correct driver for your GPIB interface, which supports you with the neccessary DLLs.

P.S.: i believe that this question is similar to this one.

Thank you ALL for your replies. Actually after failure with the new computer, I decided to continue my work with the old-one.
But one reply saying that this file is an old file from 1999 is highly possible, because the system was built at that time.
