how can I measure low current vs time and voltage Vs time continuously with 6517A Keithley

Hi,

I am Venkateswarlu. I have to measure Low current Vs Time ( Current range from Pico Amp to micro Amp) and Voltage Vs Time ( Voltage range from milli Vol to Volts). I have Keithley 6517A electrometer, KUSB-488A and LabVIEW right now. I have installed KUSB-488A and LabVIEW in my Laptop. I am able to connect Keithly 6517A and LabVIEW program.But, I am new to LabVIEW. I dont have right program to  get the data. I have seen LabVIEW forums. Most of the discussions are related to VISA program. Can I get a program in VISA to measure current Vs Time and Voltage Vs time.  Can anybody help me, plz?

A very old driver for that very old instrument can be found here. It does not use VISA though. It will only work with an NI GPIB controller. You would have to change all of the GPIB functions to VISA functions. Not that difficult, just tedious.

I have installed the drivers. I dont have any problem with drivers and software.

I am looking forward for a program either in GPIB or VISA for measuring Current as well as voltage with respect to time.

I got one program file from LabVIEW forums. Plese find the attache file here. It is showing some error while running the program.

I want to see wave form while running the program also.
