how to test PXI -PCI 8331 in MAX

       Hi

             How to check the PXI-PCI 8331 in MAx.I had inserted PXI 8331 card in Chassis with controller and PCI 8331 in my PC acting as a host but in MAX only PXI was identified but not PCI card eventhough card was inserted correctly. So help me out what to do for this and test those cards

Hello Geetha,
PCI-8331 is not detected in MAX. As PCI-8331 is a PCI extender. If you can see the PXI cards in MAX, means you are able to communicate with the chassis and your system is setup correctly. In case if you still have problem communicating with the card in the Chassis have a look at this knowledge base, this may help. Let me know how it goes.

Its great that it's working. About the second question, what cards are you using? Depending on the cards you can communicate with them using the appropriate driver.

           I am using PCI-PXI 8661 Card and using my PC as host with PCI 8661 ,the other chassis with controller and only with one card i.e, PXI 8661.So what are the commands i can give

Hi,
Can you confirm the Model # again is it PXI-PCI 8361 as the one you have mentioned is not NI card.
