in Labview 6.1 how to make property node link to element inside a clust?

in LV 7.0 I found I was able to link to an element inside the clust. but in 6.1 I can't because I can see the arrow in clust which allows me to select the element in the clust. I only can link the clust while the elements in the clust don't show up at "link to"

How to do that ??? thanks

Not sure why you posted this to the Instrument Control board. You should post it to the LabVIEW board and perhaps someone there will still have a copy of 6.1 or remember anything about it. I certainly don't remember anything that old.
