initializing ARINC 429 Module in Labwindows, PXIe Chassis

Hi everyone

i have installed a third party ARINC 429 Module in the PXIe chassis, installed its drivers and Run its diagnostic Tests which Pass succesfully.

But this device is not listed in NI Measurement and Automation Explorer.

Besides this device identification/resource namesecondly does it make any difference whether the Card is installed in PC or PXI chassis for the vendor developed Lib/DLL files to be used.

So that i can use third party functions/examples as they are given.

So how could i use it under Labwindows for data reception and transmission.

please guide or any sample code. thanks and Regards

The device will not show up in MAX. There are shipping examples that should come with the driver, you can find some of them here: C:\Program Files\AIM-USA\1553 Windows BSPV09.37.02\sample\msvc\win32

Hi,

I am a beginner in LabVIEW.

I have to acquire data using ARINC 429 from diffrent sensors( voltage, current, frequency etc) which ic connected to DAQ. I have designed sensors and tested. Now I have to acquire data in real time . What should I do next ? Is there any pre- built function regarding data acquisition? I have no clue how to do this. Please help me!

Hello ankit7,

This thread is almost 4 years old. I would suggest you try reposting your question in a new thread. Not all of the community members will look through old threads such as this. A new thread will allow your post to be viewed easier and will get you a response quicker.
