io interface/driver not present

Hi,

I just posted this on another board but was suggested to post here.

I am now working in  a testing lab. They have a Keithley 580 ohmmeter which is connected to PC via Agilent 10833B GPIB cable. Now they want to upgrade it to 82357A GPIB/USB interface. The program was developed in IBASIC but it could not execute using the new cable as it generated this "io interface/driver not present" error.

I'm trying to figure out how much modifications should be done to fix this problem, or it just needs a new program.

I was the one to suggest posting to a different board but that was because I assumed that some place in your application your were using NI hardware or software.

For differences in the two Agilent controllers, the best place to ask would be Agilent's tech support.
