I downloaded the lecroy labwindow IVI driver from the Lecroy website and it asked me to download and install IVI_shared_components

which I did and then I installed the driver. Once I tried to load the driver into labwindows

I got the message: "format of functional panel file is newer than this version of CVI can read :\..\lcscope.fp". Is there anyway I can

get around this?

Hi Yankee98,

A CVI function panel can be formatted in several different manners, which affects the maximum lengths of names in the .fp file as well as what features are supported.  Function panels can be saved for 5.0.1 and earlier, 5.5 and later as well as 8.5 and later.  What version of CVI are you working with and what instrument driver did you download?

Hi yankee98,

The driver was built using the option for CVI 8.5 and later.  I resaved the file for the 5.5 and later format for you.  It successfully opens in older versions of CVI now, but I was unable to do any extensive testing as I do not have the hardware to work with.  I have attached the .fp file for you.  You can move your current .fp file out of the drivers folder, and replace it with this one.

why no .c and .h file in side zip file
