Thorlabs TC200 temperature controller that i am using on my research, and actually i can control this device by using basic visa read and write example and i can set the temperature read temperature etc., but i want to do that by using numeric indicator and controller. I mean i write comman to read actual temperature that is shown on my temperature controller and i did while loop on this example and i can read temperature continuosuly, but i want to contol temperature also by using numeric controller. For example to change temperature, i have to stop program and write tset=50.0 F to set temp. 50 F and run again and if i want to set different temp i have to do that again again, instead of doing same thing evert time Can I make numeric controller to change temperature? How does numeric controller know command to change temp? Do i have to defice set temp. command for numeric controller? if i am not clear completely let me know and i can explain more detail.
