ni488ddk impossible to read pbar1 registers

I am trying to use the ni488ddk in a linux box with mips processor.
I have  no problem to read pbar0 registers. I have programmed iodwbsr (pbar0+0xC0) with the address of pbar1+0x80 as described in others forum and TNT5002 datasheets.
Then when I read the registers in pbar1 (pbar1+0x100 to pbar1+0x120) I only get zeros.
Does anybody knows anything about that?

I found an exact description of my problem while reading one post on the forum and it seems this is impossible to solve on my architecture.

The current architecture I am using can only read 4 byte from pci memory space...
Any possibility to read pbar1 register of this board with 32 bits access?
