old pcmcia gpib non-latching

I have got a old card pcmcia gpib, but I need the cable for this card, is a old cable non-latching and unfortunately NI no longer sell, becasuse now are differents.

I`m making a non-latching cable
The card works in my pc, but I can`t communicate with my GPIB Instrument
I need to Known the pinouts of the card pcmcia, I have conect whit GPIB conector

1 of PCMCIA whit 1 GPIB
2 of PCMCIA whit 2 GPIB
3 of PCMCIA whit 3 GPIB

" "
" "
24 of PCMCIA whit 24 GPIB

I have reviewed this a lot times, but don`t work, so I need to know the correct connection.

Hi,

The picture shows the relation between the pins of the PCMCIA connector and the GPIB connector. The pins on the PCMCIA card will match the pins of the connectors.

After many tests I´m sure don´t work
pin 1 GPIB to pin 1 PCMCIA
pin 2 GPIB to pin 2 PCMCIA
pin 3 GPIB to pin 3 PCMCIA
...
...
...
pin 24 GPIB to pin 24 PCMCIA

I know the pin of connector standard GPIB 488 (DAV, NRFD, NDAC...) but I need Know description pin and name of old PCMCIA non-latching
Or correct connection of pins between connectors.

I don't think this pin mapping is correct!!!

I've just built a cable with this mapping, and it fails.

Looking into things with an ohmmeter shows that the signal returns ( grounds, pins 18 and up on the gpib cable) don't map out correctly at all.

It looks like it may be mapped alternating left/right on the gpib connector to straight numerical sequencing on the 25pin pcmcia edge connector. this would look something like this:
25pin pcmcia gpib cablepin #
1 1
2 13
3 2
4 14

and so on.

Can someone at NI please confirm this?

I've mapped out with an ohmmeter the connection from the 25 pin pcmcia connector to the TNT4882C-AT IC in the card. If I knew the pinout of thi
s chip, I could figure things out, but can't find this info either.

I've attached an MSWord file with that mapping, and a bit of descriptive text.

Hi,

You are right, the pins alternate. That is the picture I found well looking the information up. I didn't test the pins, when I posted the picture.

I looked into the documents in more detail I found the actual pinout, which I'm attaching.

I'm suprised that no one else mentioned that the picture was wrong after all this time :).
