Wandel and Glotterman pcm-4 CVI Drivers

Does anyone have W&G PCM-4 setup commands (the manual really leaves a lot to be desired)

Hi Dean,

I searched the NI Instrument Driver Network (www.ni.com/idnet) for Wandel & Goltermann, and several instruments came up, but unfortunately none of them were the PCM-4. You can request a driver from that webpage as well, but I think your best bet is to either contact W&G for more clarity on their setup commands, or post some specific questions regarding communication using NI products on this discussion forum. You may get lucky and have someone who has used the PCM-4 extensively respond here, but in my experience the Discussion Forum posts are much more likely to get responses with specific questions. I got quite lucky on this ancient piece of equipment and found a manual that actually still had diskettes inside that had CVI instrument drivers (provided by W&G). I appreciate your response regardless.

We do not have a driver for that particular part in our driver network.  Like in the previous post, you may try contacting the manufacturer, they may have a driver.

I have CVI version of the PCM4 code.  It also has a demo program and its fully functional.  I tried it out.  I went through the code it seems to have setup command and also initialization code.  If you want it then email me at lizkingx@hotmail.com for the code.  I will be glad to share he code with you. 

Just out of curiosity what platform are you writing your code? I am looking for any labview code which does the same thing. Anyway I would really appreciate if you also help me. Thank you
