please help me is any toolkit is required for running visa blocks?

please help me is any toolkit is required for running visa blocks? because whenever i run any serial project in labview it gives Error 1 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi->serial communication.vi error... please help me waiting for your guidance.

No, all that you need is NI-VISA and the driver for your USB-Serial converter If that is what you are using. Verify that the port shows in Windows Device Manager and in MAX.

Did you choose a serial port that actually exists in the VISA Resource control before running your VI?

Your VISA Resource Name control is blank. You have to select a valid name. Click on the pull-down menu (the arrow on the right side) and pick your com port from the list.

Just as I was hinting at in my last post:  you have to select a valid serial port before you run your VI.  Using the dropdown on the VISA Resource control will show which ports are available for you to select from.
