I am working on a Mobile Ad-Hoc Network using the NI sbRIO 9631 for a robotics control platform. I am working on using a exterior inertial measurement unit to determine oreintation using an Arduino UNO. I need to have communication between the Arduino and the board however, the one onboard RS232 interface is being used for wireless communication. We have a little money left over in the project and I am wondering if there is a module that will expand the number of RS232 ports? I would like if there is any way around using the Digital I/O ports on the FPGA to emulate a Serial interface.
