I don't understand what you mean by 'windows make me that cable is connect'.
First, if you are using a direct connection, the cable must be a cross-over type. Second, you have to make sure that the scope's IP address is set to be on the same subnet as your computer. It sounds like you are not on a network so you you check the IP address of your network card. The sub net is the third number. For example, if your network card is set to 192.168.100.25, the '100' is the sub net and the scope has to be set the same. The last number of the scope's IP must be different.
