serial port problem

i appreciate if you can help me too.

I wonder if it is possible to have two seperate serial port in Lab view which works parallel to each other. I have Visa Configure Serial Port. When I add another one, all the setting fr both become the same. I want to get data from port 5 and 6. BUt both set to either 5 or 6!.

Any idea.

It sounds like you were doing something silly such as editing the configure serial port VI.
