service pack3 for compworks++

I want to work on Windows-xp platform, at Compworks++, (helpful for VC++ environment.)
So the requirement, that software installer demands, is the Microsoft service pack3.0 or later, so I installed the service pack4 after downloading it from webside that software

So when after installing the servie pack4, when I started installing the CompWorks++, it again demanded the service pack3 or later...so what should be the solution.....

This is an unusual problem, Im assuming you are trying to install Measurement Studio 6.0 and not MS 1.0, which is not compatible with XP. The latest service pack for Visual Studio is 5, so you might try that. If this is still causing the same problem, you should get call in and talk to a support engineer by going to www.ni.com/ask, generating a service request from there and they can walk you thru the process of making sure everything is set up right on your machine.
