visa driver wizard output installed with installshield

I have a pxi device that we've created an .inf file to distribute to customers using the VISA Driver wizard.  Our distribution method is to include the driver inf with the rest of our device driver files in an Installshield installation.  Installshield has a device driver wizard which I am trying to use however the wizard is asking for the catalog file that pairs with the inf I am giving the wizard.  On closer inspection of the inf file there is a property which sets this catalog file as follows...CatalogFile=myinstr.cat.  The file is not created when using the VISA Driver wizard.  I was wondering if anyone else distributed their instrument drivers in this way and possibly ran into this same problem.

Hello Rob,

I found a knowledgebase that should help you with creating the catalog file you need for Installshield. I have never used this to distribute the drivers but this will allow you to have the catalog file you are looking for. Let me know if this helps and have a great day!
