visa write works for single device version but not for multiple device version

these VIs are used to output to the following device

http://www.tti-us.com/rc/products.htm

for the single device version the setup works perfectly.  However, the multiple device version does not.  it outputs properly once at the beginning of the program and then does not do so again.  I have no clue what is wrong.

What do you mean but "not working". Do you get an error? If so, what is it? Is there sent over the virtual serial ports that are created?

What I mean by "not working" is that the connected device does not receive any data

the error is 

-1073807298

VISA Write in iCopterv17.vi->icopter ntest.vi

I would suggest doing a search for that error code. This comes up frequently, and unfortunately, there could be several reasons for that. In fact, I just finished posting a reply to someone else who has the same error code.

      最近我在用NI公司的MEASUREMENT STUDIO做实验，这两天遇到一个非常头疼的问题，我在VC6.0的环境下用VISA对仪器进行控制，已经正确的添加了头文件和lib，开始时是能够实 现对仪器的控制的，但我不知最近我对电脑进行的什么操作改变了什么，突然间不能控制仪器了，而用Agilent IO control中的VISA Assitant仍能够实现对仪器的控制。（我用的是GPIB仪器,仪器与计算机之间应用网关E5810来连接的）
      望您能够解答我的困惑，现在实验停滞不前，所以很着急，万分感谢各位的关注！

    经过排除分析和对IO接口软件菜单的全面探索，我的问题已经解决了，是自己的IO配置问题，原来它的INTERFACE是分LAN和REMOTE两种的，两种的仪器地址的写法不一样，要严格遵循。谢谢大家
