xy graph - x axis range setting

Hi!

I've a problem with XY charts: since I want to get on the x axis a constant range of time (current time - 6h; current time + 4h), I've tried to set this property using the property nodes for x axis maximum and minimum.

But something goes wrong (the requested value id DBL, and if I pass from a time stamp to string and then to DBL i miss the information I need).

Any suggestion?

[I've posted in the wrong section; dear moderator, can you please move this post to the correct one?? thanks, sorry for the mistake]

I've already read them. I can't find what I need inside.

I've understood that the best for my application is to use waveform charts.

But... I need to add some continuous horizontal lines inside (like cursor).

How can I do??

Hi

Either you can use a cursor that does not show its vertical line or you add a plot that has two coordinates, the begin x0,y0 with x presumably zero and y the height of the horizontal line, and the endpoint with the same y and an x of the correct value.

goodluck

Ok, that's a good idea.

So, using cursors (available only on graph), how can I hide the vertical cursor?

You can select several types of cursor, look in the help.

Oh, thanks.. It seems easy, but it's not difficult at all 🙂
