There's no LTE framework for FlexRIO?

Hi,

I'm enjoying LV CSDS so far. All of sudden, I started wonder if there's an LTE framework for 7975 or 7976, but I can't find any. Now I'm wondering if you have any plans to build one for FlexRIO and/or MIMO LTE framework.

Hi James,

Glad you're enjoying LabVIEW Communications so far.  As for your question, we do plan on releasing the LTE Framework for FlexRIO soon.  Note that if you purchased the LTE App Framework, it is a 1-year subscription plan so you'll get updates for free.  

As for MIMO, can you elaborate a bit more on what you are looking for?

Good to hear the news, and I thought it would be wonderful if there's another framework or example using two or more USRP-RIOs which can be a good starting point to scale the system. I'm not sure if there's a MIMO encoder/detector in the current framework though.

Hi James,

The current version of the LTE Framework only supports SISO, so we don't have the MIMO encoder/decoder blocks implemented yet.  We do plan on supporting MIMO in subsequent versions.  

Are you looking for a generic MIMO example, or do you need it to be on the LTE Framework?  How many antennas are you looking for?
