Requesting feedback for how you organize/use projects

It's not that it poses problems for SCC, rather users have complained that it is difficult to diff/merge projects where a lot of layout changes have been made between multiple developers. What I'm trying to understand from the problem, is how LabVIEW users are organizing source in their projects so that I can try to make the diff/merge into SCC easier.

Nothing is currently impossible, just very hard to do in certain situations.

Custom sorting is one of those things that I dont use that frequently but love it when I do use it... However, what with the LVLPS file in 8.6, I wondered if sorting options should there? That way each developer on a project can have his/her own sorting options and that file does not have to worry about SCC.

PS. while we're on the subject of LabVIEW and SCC, it would be rude of me not to at least put in one more beg request for native subversion support (pushOK simply does not cut the mustard)
