EPS Timekeeper Behaviour

Hi There,

I wanted to confirm some behaviour I'm seeing as expected. It will work OK, but want to understand it better.

We are using the EPS timekeeper in a project with GPS to time synchronise our PQ measurements.

When I cause a forward jump (minutes) in time there is a large adjustment from the timekeeper - which is what I would normally expect.

However, when we have a reverse jump in time then the system just servos over time rather than making a large adjustment.

Looking in the code, I don't see any specific handling of this difference, is this expected?

Cheers,

James

Hi James,

Could you please tell me how did you using the EPS timekeeper with GPS to time synchronise PQ measurements? I'd like to reproduce this issue in my testing.

1. What's the meaning of the "EPS timekeeper"?

2. What NI hardware do you use?

3. You mentioned "When I cause a forward jump (minutes) in time there is a large adjustment from the timekeeper". Could you please give me a brief introduction about how to perform the operation?

Thanks!
