PXI configuration on SCXI Back Plane

Greeings,

I have a PXI 8156B controller mounted in a PXI 1010 chassis. I am running also a NI7030/6040E multifnction I/O module. I am using this as my real time application to acquire data from scxi 1120 modules. When i load the LVRT5.11 along with NI-DAQ 6.92, i cannot see the 7030 in max. By the way its running on WINDOWS nt 4.0 sp4.  Once i was able to see it but the LVRT would not run and i would get an error when i try to execute my VI. Right now i am not sure if i have configured my devices correct, can some one please guide me throught the process? I read somewhere that after i load the LVT5.11 i need to run a RT boot disk inorder to load LVRT.

Hi Edward,

What versions of software and drivers were you originally using?  Were you originally using an RT boot disk? If nothing has changed then I don't know why you couldn't still boot from the hard drive.

Also, if this is a new application that you are working on, I would strongly suggest moving to our current software and hardware.  All of the products you have mentioned have reached the end of their life cycle and you will not be able to get replacements (and possibly repairs).  Also we have made many improvements on our products in the 8-10 years since these were released.
