x86 to ARM

Hi!

We have been working for several years into a product based in LV, currently it is developed in 8.5 version. However,  we are trying to move into embedded market, but I have some questions.

I know it would be impossible to port exactly the software developed to X86 to a Linux embedded ARM system, but is there any chance to re-use some of the original code?

Which would be the best aproach to start developing? I mean, I have heard about embedded ARM LabView Modules, but as far as I know, it's more like programing directly into it, not using Linux as the  operating system and then using a Run-Time engine to run the code, which turns me to another question. Is there any Run-Time Engine currently for ARM based systems?

Thanks!
