Apply Icon Template for all VIs of a project ...

Hello,

I personnaly, create a new VI icon template for each project.

Something like this ... 

The problem is that i reuse a big part of my old applications when i create a new one.

So, in my new applications i get a mixture of many different template Icon. 

It would be nice to have a tool that could apply an icon template on all VI icons of a project (Or VI selection list ? )

Hello Intaris, I think it could be multiple ways to apply to Icon change ... - For a complete Project (Excluding VI libs of course ! ) - For a directory (For autopopulating folder ) - For a Virtual folder - For a VI inheritance tree as you suggest - For a VI LIB - For a single VI - For VI's selected in a checked list box - ... and certainly many other way of VI selection Manu.net

In general I also support this idea. Are you looking for something that directly modifies the VIs from the old project to have the new icon or are you wanting to make a new copy of those VIs so they have the new icon so as not to mess up your older projects if you have to go back to them?

Hello AristosQueue, I would like the tool to modify the active projet VI's. The VIs can be copied manually. I don't think that merging VI copy and Icon update in a same tool is a need ! It is more powerfull to had the 2 separate functionnalities ! Manu.net

I recommended something similiar but it didn't get too many votes. Have a kudos though since this is something I hope to see in a future version.
