Automatically Create Terminals

There's already a Quick Drop shortcut that does this.

And what is that shortcut? QuickDrop does not create all the constants/controls/indicators just drops down the LV element, unless I am missing something.

then Ctrl Space

Then Ctrl - D

Even if the functionality exists in quick drop, it would still be good to add it to the right-click menu where 95% of users would look for it.

I did not know about the QuickDrop keyboard shortcut function that automatically creates either all constants or all controls for "some" LV elements. This was not mentioned in the LabVIEW QuickDrop help

@BrianV: Yeah, didn't mean to be snarky in my first response, just factual. I tried for a few moments to find the article that describes the shortcuts and I finally found it: https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/08/boost-labview-productivity-with-quick-dr.... It's more descriptive than DOC-10491, and also predates it (I'm not exactly sure why 10491 was created - another example of how Communites and Dev Zone compete with each other).

Right clicking and creating the required I/Os will be useful for sure.  Also an option to choose create controls only should be even better.

LVSpeak was able to do this also, when I was trying it, back about a year ago.

You're right that this shortcut isn't mentioned in LabVIEW Help topics about the Quick Drop dialog box only. I'll mark this area of the help for improvement in a future release. We do, however, maintain a nice long list of LabVIEW keyboard shortcuts, including the Ctrl-D and Ctrl-Shift-D shortcuts--

I would use this only ocassionaly. I usually do not need all or even most of the terminals that are avaliable. I guess it would take less time to delete the ones that I did not need verses creating the ones that I did.
