Before submitting it here i did a quick search to find where i should post it and found nothing...so i posted here...if there is a place to post bugs as easily as in a forum like this one, please point me in the correct direction so that i can use it next time...
If you think you have a bug, post a message in the LabVIEW board. That gives a chance for other people to try it out and see if they agree. (Sometimes things that people think are bugs may not be and is just a case of the user not doing something correctly.) NI employees monitor the boards and will generally jump in and say they agree and will assign it a CAR# (corrective action request ??) which is a tracking number they use in their database of bugs. There is a thread in the Breakpoint board that is a listing of all the bugs found in a given month. There you can post a messge with a quick description of the bug, the CAR#, and a link to the thread where the bug is discussed. Read through the entire message thread for the link I posted to see some examples.
Also, if you think that something is incorrect in the help, each help topic has a "submit feedback on this topic" link at the bottom of the page. Clicking that link sends you to our Documentation Suggestion page. Please send any documentation suggestions through that page.
