Currently there is No DELETE option to delete unnecessary Code/Function/VI/Object from Block Diagram & Front Panel. We need to first select code then press delete key on keyboard to delete it.
When we right click on wire, there is a option to delete Wire Branch but when we select code/function/subvi/object then there is currently no Delete Option. Please see attached image. We can delete portion by just hitting delete but it's bit irritating when we need to modify code.
How is it irritating to hit the delete key? It is faster. You only hit 1 button instead of right-click, find it, click.

We use mouse to do coding in LabVIEW so I thought there should be option to delete un-necessary objects by using mouse & everyone will be free to use option according to their convenience, whether to use mouse/Delete key/Ctrl+X.
But I really find 'Delete Wire Branch' option useful & convenient than using Delete button to delete a wire so, according to me there should be Delete option & I really miss it.
