Editing Numerical constants

Currently, if I drop a numerical constant onto my block diagram, and it is an integer type, I can give it a value just by typing.However, if I drop a float numerical constant, I have to double click inside it to enter a value. I prefer the behavior of the integer type.

Here is anothe trick for you: grab the "integer" constant and type in a float value (say 1.0 or 3.14). Observe the magic...

This is a duplicate of "Behavior of Numeric constants"

X - Good point. I used to do that before the DBL constant was added.

 

All - Sorry. I guess I did not do a good job of searching for duplicate posts. For me this was more of a minor annoyance.
