Some times it is not easy to find the actual edited vi in the project window.

I would recommend to add an additional entry in the icon pop up window (front panel and block diagram window) that finds the actual vi in the project window.

It should:

• open Project window and brings it in front,
• jump to the actual vi in the Items view ad selects it

This does already exist in the View menu and has a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+E).

I'm not sure whether it's also needed on the icon (it exists, but maybe it is hard to find and the icon has a pretty short menu, so there are arguments either way).

This  keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+E) is exactly what I was lookong for.

I'am sorry. I was not aware of this possibility. I had overlooked this shortcut in the quick reference card.

IT is also in the VI's menu: View >> This VI In Project

Available with the Ctrl-Shift-E keyboard shortcut (or the View > This VI in Project menu option)
