Include wires while creating loop

While creating a new loop around wires, by default it doesn't include (through) it, so I wish to have an option to toggle this default behaviour, while creating the loop, more description can be found in the attached pictures.

Default behaviour

This should be implemented for all kinds of structures, not only for while loops.

I wonder if it would actually make sense to change the behavior to your suggestion by default, so we don't have to do it manually ( save the spacebar! Smiley Tongue ).

In such situations I delete the wires, draw the structure and reconnect them. Why would I want to draw a structure on top of a wire? Is there any good reason to keep the current behavior?

Yeah, it should be useful for all kind of structures, even I'm not very specific about WHILE LOOP. That was just an example. You said very correctly, the default behaviour could be 'include the wires' and the SPACEBAR can be used to select the old (currently existing) behaviour. Thanks for point it out Smiley Happy.

This has already been suggested - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Option-to-connect-wires-through-a-dropped-structure-on...
