Map Tool for GPS/INS projects

GPS/INS applications are increasing every day as you know.
It is inevitable that using maps in GPS/INS project.
There is not a simple and useful map tool in Labview.
In some open source code map applications like "Open Street Map" will be useful for some projects which including GPS/INS.

This is in the category of ideas that are, in my opinion, "definitely something best left to a third-party." Any substantial API like this is way way way outside of NI's area of expertise, and represents a significant drain on resources both to develop initially and to maintain. Library requests are fine, but they really need to be directly related to test-measure-control for NI to successfully do it... in my opinion, you would not *want* NI to create this library. I believe it would be a second-class citizen in our portfolio, constantly starved for resources by our primary projects. I recommend you approach an alliance partner or other tools vendor to develop such a library.

I'll leave the idea open... if many customers think this is something NI should develop, we might do it. I personally have my doubts.
