Open block diagram on same monitor as front panel

Currently when you open a Front Panel or Block Diagram it will open on whichever monitor you previously were working with it.    I suggest that when you move a VIs front panel to a specific monitor and then open the block diagram, it should open the BD on whichever monitor the FP is on.  This will help save user from having to continuously move many different windows from monitor to monitor.  This can also be extended to opening subVIs.  The subVIs front panel should open on the same monitor that the caller's block diagram is opened on.

I'm ambivalent about this one... if I was previously working on the diagram, I want it to pop up where I last was working on it. However, if someone else has previously been working on it on another computer (e.g., I checked out the VI from source code repository) I want it to show up in a convenient location on my monitor. I would like to read others' comments before I vote yes or no on this one.

Thats a good point as well.  Perhaps it could be an option so that different circumstances could be handled in different ways.

The problem I keep running into is that at home I have a second monitor attached to my laptop but at the customer site I am usuallly working only with my laptop screen.

If I worked on a VI on the external monitor the last time it now shows up on the far right side of the screen with most of the window off-screen. I am glad that it is not completely off-screen but I would prefer it to be fully on-screen.

I dislike this idea. On my main development computer I use two monitors. Generally FP on the left monitor and BD on the right.  If they were to always open on the same monitor, I would have to move the diagram every time I opened it.  While the current method sometimes causes a bit of searching when switching from a dual monitor to a single monitor system, I prefer that to something which will cause me extra work every time.
