PowerAutomate connector and Drop-In connector VIs

Status: New

to transform existing VI to be integrated into PA flows, the drop-in should be populate all controls and indicators to be used as connector variables.

Sorry, it's not clear what you are proposing. Could you explain the problem and your proposed solution? Adding screenshots usually helps.

Google it:

Power Automate | Microsoft Power Platform

Some use cases would be nice though.

Would you expect this to run on a PC? Or on a cloud server? I think the first might be possible by making the correct API, the 2nd could be possible with NXG. I suppose everything can be done with for instance a rest interface, which I'm sure PA supports in some way.

Google it? I have a basic understanding of Power Automate. My problem wasn't not understanding what Power Automate is, it was not understanding what the suggestion is. What exactly is being proposed and why.

@wiebe, I can think of some right off the bat

from a PC, with PA, LV and O365, there are a lot of things we can do, from monitoring building utility and publishing in a PBI dashboard to report generation and instant messaging when tests condition being abnormal. One may say that GWD can handle some of these cases, some but not many, especially when it comes to organizational logins and processes.

Using O365 I can divert the process to the next PIC, or manager, easily rather than having and maintaining 2 sets of login credentials and organization, that would be the AD use case example. another would be test remote facility monitoring/operation/administration with role-based permission control

access and connectivity to the other connectors especially in productivity software can also be beneficial over RGT, I think most of us can relate. other connectors such as the cognitive ones allow instant access to trained ready-to-use ML models. and so much more

On a PC, I think the right dll can be build from LabVIEW, that is accepted by PA.

Of course, it would be fancy to have a provider framework plug in that adds a build specification to facilitate this.
