Call me old fashion but I don't really like the automatic tool selection nor do I like to dig through the preferences to have it default to off. I get the LED like enable/disable that is found in the tool pallet but the environment does not remember what it was set to the next time you launch it. If I set the automatic tool selection to off by clicking on the LED in the tool pallet I want that to become the default state for the next time I launch LabVIEW.
I'm about to install 2010 so I hope this has already been implemented and if so, please delete this post if not I hope this simple change is implemented soon.
