Scroll through selections in locals, property nodes etc.

Hi.

In case structures you can scroll through the available selections by holding down CTRL while scrolling the mouse wheel. Why not the same on local variables, property nodes, invoke methods etc.? Just place the mouse cursor on the node, hold down CTRL, and scroll until you have the right value selected in the node.

A local variable would scroll through available variables in your VI, a property node would scroll through, well, available properties for that object and so on. Ideas for scrolling into deeply nested properties without losing your bearings are welcome.

Cheers,

Steen

A shameless plug for my slightly related ctrl+mouse scroll for arrays.
