If you have a missing VI, you can select "replace with" and you'll be brought to a file dialog so you can point the IDE to the file.
I'd like the same functionality with regular files. Currently the "Replace with..." menu option doesn't appear
It might be better to rename this to replacing files in a project instead of a build spec. You can probably get a moderator to do so by selecting options -> Report to a Moderator above the idea.
