My idea is a simple one, can a toolbar be created and shown in both the front panel and block diagram the allows you to access the different NI sites that are available while in LabVIEW. These site can be the Idea/exchange, Tutorials, NI Zone, Faceable, twitter, code exchange and others. The reason you you need to access these sites is when you are writing a code and having them on a toolbar give you instant access when you thing of it.

You can easily add such access to the Tools menu (by placing a VI in the <LabVIEW>\Project folder) or to the Help menu (one of the other folders) if you really want this. Personally, I don't see the need for this. LV is one thing and sites are another and they're easily accessible through your browser.

I should also point out that LV 2010 has a search bar integrated into the toolbar which I believe also searches online. I personally didn't like that bar during the beta, but it might fulfill your requirements.

Personally, I really like the integrated search bar in LV10.  Not that I ever have or ever will search there, it just is an immediate visual cue that I am using LV10 and not LV9.  They will probably not change it for LV11 and I'll be confused again.

Oh, Darin, you might be surprised at what we might change on that bar in 2011. I suspect you'l find differentiating 2011 from 2010 quite easy... 😉

Can we get this idea implemented for 2011 Reorder Button Color?

I'm actually surprised the idea hasn't gotten much love.  It only gathered 3 kudoes.

Actually, the current appearance of the button hasn't bothered me as much lately, but then again I don't think I need to use it that often,  But there is still something unnatural about the way it appears.  I still think the lack of color makes it look like a disabled toolbar button.
