Wordwrap in all text controls/indicators (tables, listbox, trees, graph legends, etc)

Status: Completed

LabVIEW 2025 Q1 adds the word wrap option to tables, listboxes, multicolumn listboxes, and trees.

The fact that tables don't have wordwrap for individual columns still is pathetic.  Wordwrap is needed for all text components, columns in tables, cells, treeviews, listboxes, etc.  Plot legends as well should wrap and they don't.

Tables especially need this, alone with other suggest features for draggable columns, sortable A->Z AND Z->A, columns show/hide/filter, etc....

11 years later and this is still badly needed !

There's even an 18-year-old post on the forum asking the same feature:

https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-do-I-wrap-text-in-a-list-box/td-p/141033

I think we will all have retired or even died of old age before NI even considers implementing most of the top ideas 😂

This is implemented for String controls, so that shouldn't be such a big effort to do the same for listboxes and tables, or is it ?

I suspect plot legends are different. Those are essentially arrays of clusters...

Wordwrap for tables, listboxes, multicolumn listboxes and trees is something to look forward to.
