Zoom in & Zoom out feature for Block Diagram

Status: Duplicate

As the code in block diagram grows, it's better to zoom in to the part of code & work on that.

Also now a days with size of monitors & touch screen being in terms of 19",22",24" & so on, it is very difficult to see the icons, nodes.

The worst case is that the wire becomes so thin that it is difficult to select it.

You can use the navigation window. Click the View menu and select Navigation Window. You can resize that window and it acts like a zoom.

But if your code is well structured there should be no need for either the navigation window or a zoom.

You will have to forgive my previous comment. I should have paid more attention. I just saw "zoom" and replied too fast. I actually think that zoom IN would not be a bad idea at all.

Zoom out is also important,

1. To re-view the code done by others (who is bad in coding, Like me 😉 )

2. To code in FPGA module.. Most of the code , can not be shrinked .. can not use subVI.

3. You can not force anyone to make codes, as you would like.Smiley Happy

I got very surprized that LabVIEW does not have zoom function. How those veteran users tolerate this! Can some launch a survey to see how many users want this function? I really wish to have it.

There is no need to do a poll, that's why we can vote here. This is also a duplicate idea, the original is linked above and has a detailed description why it is not implemented.
