When a source control system is configured but the server is not reachable, it takes a long time to load a project or large VI. It appears that LabVIEW tries to connect to the source control system to check the status of every item individually. This is only a problem when there is an available network connection, but the source control server cannot be reached (for example, disconnected from the company network but connected to the internet at a customer site) - when there are no network connections, there's no problem. Is there some way LabVIEW could recognize that the source control system isn't available and stop trying to contact it?
