"Change to array" / "Change to element" for controls, indicators, constants

There should be an easy way to replace a control/indicator/constants of a certain type to an array of that same type, and vice-versa.

I actually agree with ST5.  Allow right-clicking and choosing to "Add Dimension" to a scalar control, indicator, terminal or constant etc.  Also allow right-clicking and choosing "Remove Dimension" on a 1-D array control, indicator, terminal or constant.

"Change to Array" or "Add Array Element" are both good ideas.  It would be great if NI implemented a way to make a control (or constant) an array without having to go to the Array selection, etc, etc.  I've been wanting this feature for years.  It is a great idea.

It looks like 4 years later, this has been resurrected as a different idea.  This other idea has the ideas that Silmaril and ST5 mentioned in their comments.
