Controling a DC motor with encoder on back

Hello hrh1818,

I'm trying to make an quadrature counter with UPD4702 and UPD 4704 (16 BITs) but I cannot count . I'm using oscilloscope and I have Danaher Controls series 21.

If you have any advice for STB and OE wil be welcome.I did't find any link with industrial electronic prints with those circuits.

Thank you

There is a NEC data sheet for the UPD4702 at <http://www.soiseek.com/NEC/UPD4702/> that provides more information than the Renesas data sheet.  It is a 16 page data sheet, of which 3 are blank sheets.  Use the naviagation links in the upper right and lower right corners to browse the data sheet.  In particular look at page 9.  Page 9 shows a simple application circuit.

Dear hrh1818

My project is almost finished.

No I have a problem with motor, when I press run button the motor moves fast (until program load) for a seconds then stops and stays ready for commands by software.

My question is if I can eliminate this fast moving at the beginning before the program loads completely?

Encoders are not natively supported by LIFA but I have successfully used them with LIFA by adding functions in the firmware and in LabVIEW.  I created a Document about them here (click on the Documents tab).
