Error while installing VIPM.

While trying to install the VIPM by running the .exe file, the installation throws me an error.  The error lists "Possible Reasons" as: "LabView: File Already Open" and "NI-488:Command requires GPIB Controller to be System Controller".

I am running Windows XP, if that makes any difference.  Please let me know if any further information would be helpful in solving this problem.  Thanks!

This is typically (but not always) a problem with virus scanning software blocking VIPM installation. Try turning off your virus scanners.
